This set is no where near the quality of any others we now have, but they are gentle, comfy to hold, and dishwasher protected (most laguiole isnt). The knife is serrated, so cuts thru most meat very easily, but the fork tines are just a little vulnerable, actually some were a chunk bent on arrival. However they straightened out easily, and havent rebent on use. The seams at the aspects of the handles are a little bit uneven, and that you may be ready to feel the sign up fors, and the spoons have a flat part, now not a easy formed one.
